
About Dr. Maya
Amalia Armenta (Dr. Maya) graduated from UC Irvine with an undergraduate degree in Biology, and went on to graduate from the Medical College of Wisconsin with an MD degree. She completed her residency at LA County USC Medical Center, where she trained in a remarkable array of public and private health care experiences. Dr. Maya underwent extensive training in ambulatory and in-patient medicine, including a wide breadth of clinical experience in ICU, CCU, Hematology/Oncology, Neurology, Dermatology, Nephrology, Rheumatology, Geriatric Medicine, Infectious Disease, and Gastroenterology rotations.
Dr. Maya has had a solo practice since 2005, providing quality general internal medicine services that include preventive health care for adults. Her clinic provides a broad approach to healing and well-being, merging high-quality conventional and non-conventional therapies that are scientifically proven to promote health and wellness, and treat disease.
